Lower rear glass rubber

Looking for the metal fasteners for the rubber strip that rests between the bottom of the rear glass and the trunk. One end of this rubber is coming loose. Any ideas?

First make sure the metal clips aren't still attached to the back of the rubber strip - they may be there.

If any clips missing, the part number is: A0059886278

The clips are attached to holes in the body with pop rivets. Use a bit of sealant on the rivet and between the clip+body to help prevent moisture entering the hole.

Yes, I see that it is still attached to the rubber! So should I fully remove the strip now to re-rivet the existing clip(s) to the body? The rubber is in surprisingly good shape. They really used the best materials.

Yes, remove the strip and if the clips came off you need to re-rivet the clips. As Dave said, use a sealant around the rivets you install. It is a good idea to clean the area thoroughly and let it dry. Then Rivet and seal the holes with appropriate stuff. I used a very good wax on the area too before I put in the seal so that any water that gets in there will meander away quickly.
