Oddments box hardware

I'd like to install the oddments box I removed from my old car before I sold it in the new car I just bought, but have misplaced the screws that attach the box to the bracket, and the bracket to the seat frame. Does anyone know the specs of the screws please?

Thanks,

Derek

Post pics of the box/bracket. I have fire extinguisher to mount and I have everything, if similar I will dig out my hardware and snap some pics...

Here is pics of the box, bracket etc.. picked up from various sources. I know Dave (gsxr) is the owner of some of them.

I think the correct mounting bracket (A124 868 02 12) is NLA as well as the oddments box, but the mounting hardware is the same as for the mounting bracket for the fire extinguisher. The bracket for the fire extinguisher can also be modified and used for the oddment box as shown on one of the images.

The picture with the parts numbers is incredibly helpful. Here's the setup in my car. Seems like the bolt holes are on the underside of the seat tube...unless the holes in the photo are not the mounting holes for the bracket?

The two holes in your first photo are for the bracket. The bracket is intended to be mounted with 4 screws, but you would need to drill holes for the remaining 2 screws, if desired. That is difficult to do with the seat installed in the car. 2 screws is generally adequate.

Yes, that's the only two holes which is pre-drilled for the bracket. The lower bolt holes has to be drilled on the underside of the rail, and you can do that when the bracket is fixed with the two upper bolts. Unless you have a an angle head drill you have to unbolt the seat and tilt it backwards to get access for drilling the lower holes.
