Don't know if this is the right place for this but....

Anybody have a shop recommendation for a PPI in San Jose CA? (preferably not to far from 880 and The Alameda)

Thanks

Sorry, nothing that far south.

But I've got a shop-owner buddy & E500E expert up in Marin County who can help ....

Cheers,
Gerry

Thanks Gerry.

About how far away would his location be?

Car I'm considering is a 94 E320 Cabrio. (Hi, my name is J and I'm a 124 addict......welcome J, were glad you're here) Hoping to find a shop that knows what to look for.

Marin County / San Rafael? From San Jose/880? Oh man ... a good 1.5 hours driving, including traffic. There has to be a shop that knows the E500E there in the San Jose/Santa Clara (South Bay) area. THe only reason I mentioned Robert is that he has bought and sold at least 15 E500Es and owns a couple of them at the present time. Logistically it would be a stretch to bring a car up there.

Cheers,
Gerry

Sorry this response is so very late, and probably irrelevant at this point, but just in case anyone else looks at this thread: I'd recommend Reiling Automotive in Santa Clara (on The Alameda, about a block and a half off the campus of Santa Clara University). Terry Reiling is the owner/tech, and he's great crusty old character who knows old Mercedes better than the back of his hand.
