WANTED Third brake light... from Top Classic Parts in FL. Anybody bought one?

Looking for a third brake light assembly and came across an aftermarket unit by Top Classic Parts in Florida. Does anyone have any experience with purchasing this part? Or with them and any other of their parts?

My housing has the center crack and the lense has just started with the melting.

They claim to have every color they offer in stock, except "Brazil".
I'm thinking if I order, I would order a black one unless somebody can comment on their color match.

This company is run by a German guy (Klaus) , who is a nice guy. I bought a sun visor repair kit from him for my SL500, when the plastic hinges broke. They are not 100% exact, but you would not notice the difference & they work OK.
I cannot comment on the third brake light, as I have not looked at them at his shop, but the color match for my visors was correct

I am sure you would be able to match a spray paint color for Brazil Brown. I used SEM paint and SEM plastic Prep Soap and SEM Plastic Adhesion promoter spray with great success painting a 3rd brake light and other plastic interior parts for an SEC. The 3rd brake light is not close to other items - a dark brown should work fine - maybe 15023 Cordovan Brown or 15483 Bluebird Brown. I used 15173 Camel and it was as close to a perfect match for Palomino out there. SEM even makes a color called Palomino, but Camel was dead on.

To be clear, my car does not have the Brazil interior, I just wanted to highlight the fact that they had a lot of colors in stock. This car has the cream of mushroom soup interior :duck:and I was wondering if their color match there was good (enough) or whether I should just do black and call it a day.
I am probably going to hold off on this for a while as my housing is in pretty good shape, my tabs are unbroken and an LED bulb is in the works along with BOW lightbulb delete. So, someone else will have to write the review of this brake light reproduction ;)

I appreciate the process and product recommendation for achieving a quality paint job on the plastic parts though, great info.

As an aside, for anyone reading this thread and being concerned about using Duplicolor or SEM paints for plastic pieces, don't be. As long as you prep them properly (both vendors have the proper prep products, too) the result are quite surprising.

I used Duplicolor products to change the color on a W124 center console and I was very pleased with the results, both the color match and the ease of use. The console wore well and stood up to normal use as well as the originally colored part, I thought.
