Its the Bracket that hold the mid pipes to the Transmission housing.

I wouldn't mind one of these either. The bracket has been NLA for years unfortunately.

could it be fabricated? well we will need the design.
I'm sure a copy could be made, but we would need an original to copy; or at least all the dimensions. I've never even seen a picture of one. You can modify a catalyst bracket to work by elongating the mounting holes but I'd prefer the correct item. Alternately, you can just leave the bracket off completely...

Problem is I think it serves a purpose. I think it reduces exhaust pipes movements especially during start/shutoff
did you modify the KAT bracket ? does it need new holes or such ?
 
Yes, I did modify a KAT bracket to match the mounting points on the rear transmission housing.
