Driver's Side 500E Headlight Glass (Lens) Repair?

The Euro versions of these lenses are NLA right? Arrrrghhh.

I had a small rock chip in mine. A few years ago I applied Lamin-X to it to prevent any more chips from occurring.

Then, more recently, I used one of those el-cheapo resin repair kits to fix a chip on my Prius' windshield. WOW. I was amazed. It did a great job and the chip in the windshield is 95% unnoticeable. Has anyone tried using these windshield repair kits on their headlight glass? I'm thinking to peel off the Lamin-X and applying the resin, then re-applying a new sheet of Lamin-X.....

Master of stick poke is your name! Actually the rock chip was first, and then I put the LaminX on to prevent more. But you are right — the chip burns! Oh it burns the soul!

If that is your driver side lens I sourced a new OEM lens from SayHey on this site a few months ago. I think he also has another driver side lens that may be for sale. They are definitely NLA.
