Nice! You need to get the proper knob for the power steering reservoir, though. That's my Mercedes Martha Stewart coming through, sorry.

Dan

Yeah that's what came on the car so I thought they all had it.. I could have got one at the junkyard and I passed it up thinking, ehh, I'll just keep the original.

Then I start seeing all the pictures of the how the engines supposed to look and there's that knob 🤓

Also as you can see I have w126 intake tubes!

I could excuse the zoom tubes, as they're pretty close. A wing nut for the PS reservoir cover is a clear kludge. I think the knob (000 466 03 68) is about $16 from the dealer, maybe more these days. And you have a very nice coolant reservoir, it looks nearly new!

A nice looking car and engine compartment, regardless. The details will take care of themselves eventually.

It a fair to good car.

Highly polished crappy repaint!
The headliner is falling.
The flex discs are out
Need shocks.

But the leather is beautiful carpets are good not too many dents just some door dings (and can you believe it I got two from my own co-workers!)
Even the factory antenna goes up and down but the stereo needs to be rebuilt.

Slowly but surely I'm fine tooth combing everything.

I also have a 300CE-24 vintage 1990

We all nit-pick our cars. I can look at any of my cars and see all sorts of defects.

But -

My neighbor looks at my cars and thinks they're "cool" and is amazed at the great condition they're in. You car looks pretty nice for it's age and condition. It will never be perfect. Fix what you can and don't worry about the rest as you enjoy driving it.
