M119 ignition distributor dowel pin

So... have you ever had that dowel that goes into the rotor break or somehow be broken? Where's the WIS for repairing that? If I'm reading all data correctly the dowel is a part of the ignition cam gear!?!

I am more of an observer when it comes to the 119 engine, but do you happen to have some pictures of that please?
 
You mean like this? Yep, I had that happen years ago... I think the center bolt loosened, AND rotor bolts loosened as well. Now I use a dab of blue threadlock on the bracket (and rotor) bolts.

The dowel is sold separately and can be replaced, but it isn't fun to remove the old one. More pics here.

Is there a WIS needed for this repair or is this just a straight removed the hardware to include the breather and... or does the dowel just slide into the hole?
 
The dowel just slides into a hole in the sprocket. However, extracting the damaged old piece may be entertaining...
