Do you have solutions for a rear bracket from Euro to US since the Mercedes one seems NLA? Also, any idea how to get this bolt out? Right now my rear is sitting on 2 bolts (top right, bottom left).

Yeah that looks like the 1248170011 which is NLA. I was trying to find some confirmed fits before I take off the current standard plastic EU size and lose all possibily to mount a plate.

It will depend on if, or if not, your car has the plastic 'filler' panel between the taillights. Regular W124's had it from at least 93. I can't recall exact year of change. The car pictured above is an 87. I'm not knowledgeable enough myself about 500e trim to comment further. I'm guessing, if yours is a 92, Maybe?
The Green E420 in my profile pic is a 94. It has the newer trim I'm referring to. The piece from the gold colour car Would Not work with that trim. That said, that trim is removable, but personally I wouldn't, especially a 500E.

All 124 cars (except the 1st cabriolet A124, and the T-Model S124!) kept the '87-type rear boot lid until ca. May 1993, when 2nd face-lift was introduced.

But this statement is only valid for cars outside of North America and Japan, because these two markets got the "filler" styled for MY-1990 (produced after 09/1989, with 1st face-lift).

A124 "convertibles" started their production during transition from 1992/93 models - but where equipped with "filler"-style boot lid since the beginning, even for markets outside USA/JP.

And there's more information about this topic on a separate thread too:
