headlight wiper arm adjustment

Hello,
The driver side headlight wiper on my 1994 E420 is too high on the headlight lens. Is there an adjustment to bring this down or is this an alignment issue with both driver and passenger side wipers? Thanks in advance. Eric

Sometimes the wipers don't park in the same position. First try cycling the wipers (turn on headlights, wash windshield briefly to cycle the headlight wipers). Do this a couple of times, see if there's any change.

If not... you can loosen the 8mm nut which fastens the wiper to the shaft. It's a serrated connection, you can move it over 1 notch. Unfortunately each 'notch' is pretty coarse and there is no "fine adjustment" possible, that I'm aware of.

Thanks, Dave! It took about a dozen cycles but it finally aligned with the passenger wiper. All is good in the world.
