Transmission Vac Lines - I have 3?

Hi All,

My transmission has three vac hoses.
On all diagrams I can find on here and also on the EPC, there are two listed. One which goes directly to manifold and one to the firewall valve.

I have a third pipe on the right side of the transmission.

Anyone come across this? Im guessing this transmission may have come from another model.

I have it disconnected at present and shifts seem fine...

Jay, for Euro-spec cars, there may be 3 vacuum hoses:

1) Vacuum modulator (left/driver side)
2) Cold-upshift delay (right side, at control pressure cable)
3) E/S shift selector (right side, at control pressure cable, Euro-spec vehicles only)

#2 and #3 can both be disconnected & plugged with no ill effects, on a Euro car. It will remain in "S" mode at all times, same as USA-spec cars.

It came from my USA spec 500E donor... so for some reason it has a euro gearbox!

Ah yes... the USA-spec cars sometimes have the "worldwide" control pressure cable, with the extra port blocked off. If you don't have the E/S switch in the wagon to connect to the third port, just don't worry about it!

I dont have the switch.. I have just left the pipe tied up out of the way..

Ах, да... в автомобилях для США иногда есть "всемирный" контрольный напорный трос с заблокированным внешним портом. Если у вас в вагоне нет переключателя E/S для подключения к третьему порту, не беспокойтесь об этом!
