Hello, I introduce myself from Spain, as the owner of this 1993 w124 E420, I will tell you a little about its story:
I bought it in 2020. I had just sold my w126 560SEL (which I will always regret, it was new) and I couldn't stop thinking about it, so to get it out of my head, I bought this E420, a car that was always on my mind. It had (and still has) many things to do, but it has a very good engine, gearbox and very healthy bodywork, (always in Spain and bought in Madrid, official dealer).
A friend of mine went to see it (he's a real Mercedes expert) and he told me it was pretty good, so I should buy it.
It has some peculiarities that I will tell you about, but I have grown very fond of it and I don't want to sell it. It moves in an incredible way.
The M119 has a beautiful sound, and the car is a beast, impressive chassis, comfortable and poised, outstanding quality, no creaks, no strange noises. It has a nice combination with the gray color and the gray leather upholstery, it does not have much equipment, but it is completely standard and well maintained by its previous owners. The only bad thing is that it has received a lot of sun. But my intention is to leave it perfect.
