Resistance value of the ETA electromagnet?

Hi all

What is the resistance value of the electromagnet (Throttle 0001415225)?

I have two throttles. One is 4ohm and the second is 166ohm

I have two spare M119 ETAs. If you tell me which pins to measure I’ll check them. One is for a car with ASR and one without.

The pins are 12 and 13 . I have ETA for var with ASR

Clutch coil should be 4.5ohm when cold and close to 5 when hot. 166 means its not operational.

Ok, how can I check that it really works? Connect 12v directly?

Thats the simpliest way. Polarity doesnt matter. It will click if its good and be silent if its bad.

@kubasz is right--4.7-4.8 Ohms. My ASR ETA was rebuilt by Don Roden and hasn't been used (yet). I pulled these off my parts shelf in the garage where it is about 85F. I don't have a climate-controlled storage facility like the @gerryvz!
